Fun days to come!

After rotting on the sofa at home for a near seven months, I've decided to apply to participate in the BRATs camp programme by The Star Publications. BRATs is a group of young journalist coming from different parts of the country. They hold 3 camps a year and this would be the second camp of the year, with the previous camp being held in Raub, Pahang.

I'd be joining up with many other aspiring journalist from all over the nation at Johor Bahru in 3 days time! The excitement is unbearable and can't wait to meet up with these guys! I ponder on what we'll be doing throughout those four days.

Music galore

It's been a while since I've started on any new projects and some of my latest ones are almost done!!!! I'll be uploading 'em on Souncloud as soon as I'm done.

I wanted to create a mash-up of deep house and progressive and I managed to get the final product within a few months, a long time don't you think? Getting the sounds right, I think I'm nearing completion of the track. It's still an ID at the moment, so stay updated.

My second track was something of an Avicii styled track together with something a little more poppy. This track is still production and Daril's helping me out with the guitar plucks at some parts of the track. I'd give a sneak preview right now but nah.

Moving on, I'm writing some extra music sheets for acoustic play has in production! It's always exciting to work on something new, whether its electronic or pop.

Mid season review

Our first season in Division 1 of the Garden Social League had begun. And to be honest, we were utterly disappointing in the start of the season. Things were always going to be tough for us, since we're an under 21 squad whilst every other team were senior teams. The season had kicked off for us against Reida FC and we lost in a hard fought 3-2 match. We threw away our chances of what could've been a one sided game, since we were the more dominant side. Defensive errors cost us dearly. The following week followed up with a 1-1 draw against a stubborn Spartan FC. They were tougher than when we had a friendly with 'em earlier in the year.

The next match would see us face BDFC and the most we could put on show was a 2-2 draw, pretty good considering that we were missing 8 key players. Up next would be against FFK, our worst performance of the season by far. Our goalie Kris had injured himself during warm up and things worsened for him during the match. He busted his leg in a collision with the opposition's forward. One the key factors the defeats. Our mentality played a part in the defeat as where we getting frustrated and showed signs of giving up. It was all going bad enough when the monsoon rain decided to come pouring in. 4-0 the result, a disastrous game.

Here's how the standings looks like as of today.

Yes, we need to improve quick to avoid relegation while the top two are battling it out for glory to the top. The lads and I are working hard in training week in, week out. ONE THING'S FOR SURE, THE REFS ARE ABSURD ONE WAY OR ANOTHER, okay enough banter for this post. Forza KLA!

I'll stop with the solemn results my team's been putting and I'll hook up some music that I think you guys would love. What do you get when you mash up folk/pop singer Ed Sheeran and 19 year old megastar DJ Martin Garrix together? You get a brand new song called Rewind Repeat It! It's simply amazing, do enjoy this new song together with Air Supply's Making Love Out of Nothing At All and Michael Buble's cover of Save The Last Dance For Me.

Cheers mates!

It's been a week since the SPM results were out, SO HOW DID YOU GUYS DO?

I THINK I DID PRETTY WELL, WITH MY HANDS UP??? I won't post a slip pic or tell what my results are but you'd be able to guess how well I did if I did jump for joy right? Congrats to everybody around the nation on your results!!! If you guys didn't do that well, its okay, results aren't everything and you've tried and fought hard till the very end.

The guys decided to have a party the other day and it! Wish them all the best in their futures while I'll sit at home rotting for July to come hahahahaha. Here's a song to jubilant results and the cancellation of NS!

New beginnings and downcast endings

First post on this blog, exciting ain't it! To start things off here in this new blog of mine, let me give an update on what happened on the last 7 months. I recall on what happened from August till the end of November, which includes stacks of books, studying, basking on the banter, more studying, stress and celebration of freedom.

Mid terms were pathetic, trials were dissatisfying, so what better way to motivate yourself than to leave school on a high! Even though BU3 may be a hell hole, I wanted to leave on a high and not in sorrow. Sacrifices had to be made but they aren't that huge of sacrifices I suppose. It was just stopping football trainings, putting music projects on hold and pretty much that. It did make my fitness levels plummet hard, I suffered to reach the 16km finish line during a run in September, oh god. Moving on, I just hope the hard fought effort is going to be worth it all.

December was a pretty chilled month I would say, football trainings don't begin until the New Year and guessed who was finally turning 17 hmmmmm! Pretty great that I got to continue working on all of my personal work and projects again, from which I had stop to compensate studying for my finals. Yes I still write poetry and I still draw even though I'm in front on this screen writing music. If you had to ask what was the worst moment of the year, it had to be prom. Regret going to prom? Yes. How bad was it? Unimaginably inadequate. But hey, I managed to get my beef noodles at the street just off at The Ritz-Carlton. Okay, let's not solemnly carry on how much exams and prom sucks HAHAHAHA

A NEW YEAR, 2015 HAD FINALLY ARRIVED! January was when I decided to join a club where I would get some league playing experience. I joined Kuala Lumpur Athletic, a local under 21 development squad with both local and foreign players. First training session of with the club went down really great, I felt welcomed and the lads are nice and friendly and so was the coach, James. Unfortunately, I got injured later on in one of our sessions and currently still am injured, ankle injury to be precise. What a great way to start the year right.

February was the time of the year where my pockets, wallet and me myself would get a lot heavier. Chinese New Year this year was great, maybe because my relatives never came to visit for the first time. Gleeful moment and tears of joy. Nothing much happened later on in the month, just beautiful sleep everyday.

And today's the first day of March, yay! My ankle's almost fully healed and results will be out on Tuesday! That's right, 2 days from today! So I want to wish good luck to all 97s around the country and may the odds be in your favor!

Highlight of the past few months has got to be THE CANCELLATION OF NATIONAL SERVICE FOR MY BATCH, NO WORDS CAN DESCRIBE HOW GREAT OF A MOMENT IT WAS. REAL TEARS OF JOYYYYY

So, I'm going to end it here and let me hook up two of my songs of the month, Martin Garrix's Forbidden Voices and King by Years & Years. Do enjoy!

Well hello there!

Basically I'm back to blogging after 7 months out of it, and with the change from Wordpress to Blogger as I've forgotten my password and there weren't any nice usernames on Wordpress anymore.

I won't post as regularly as in my previous blog but you'll get the picture. Going to leave it short here.
